How the Silver Exchange Program Works

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Email your request to 925@tocara.com and include:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Shipping address
• Phone number
• Clear photos of the jewelry (mandatory)

Requests without photos cannot be processed.

Step 2: Validation & Shipping

Once your request is reviewed and approved:

• Tocara will email you a prepaid PDF shipping label
• Please ship your jewelry securely using a box or padded mailer
• Canada Post tracking will be used to confirm shipment and receipt

Step 3: Evaluation & Offer

Upon receipt:

• Your jewelry will be logged, verified, and weighed 
• You will receive same-day confirmation of receipt with the gross weight
• Within 48 hours, jewelry is processed and reweighed without stones to determine the net sterling silver weight

Important notes:

• Stones are removed for weighing and are not given monetary value
• Buyout value is based solely on sterling silver weight
• Silver values fluctuate daily and are set at the time of processing. Style Advisors can view current daily rates in the Back Office, along with daily stock updates.
• The gift card value will be rounded up to the nearest $10

You will receive an email with your gift card value offer for approval.

Step 4: Accept or Decline the Offer

If you accept:
Your digital Tocara gift card will be issued immediately via email.

If you decline:
Your items (including any stones removed) can be returned to you. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

*Exchange value is issued as a Tocara gift card only and is not redeemable for cash. Silver exchange values are determined using current market rates at the time items are weighed by Tocara. Market rates change daily and can be found here. Tocara continuously reviews industry benchmarks to ensure competitive exchange value compared to traditional precious metal buyers.

• Minimum weight requirements may apply – your photos will be used to determine if weight requirements are met before shipping label is issued
